New Directions

It's been a very quiet time on our website over the past year, but not in our lives! Big changes, adventures, adjustments, and coming into a new place to create from.

Hello Everyone, 

It's been a very quiet time on our website over the past year, but not in our lives! Sorry to say we are only now in the process of catching up with the job of realigning our website. 

We are both well, and still based in Mt Shasta. It's true we are no longer involved with the Stargate work. That association, for Varid one that covered over five decades as a personal friend to Prageet, and nearly thirty years supporting the Stargate work in a variety of ways, came to an abrupt and unfortunately unpleasant conclusion just over a year ago. For Ashley it also meant moving on from the extensive work she carried out in the Stargate organization. We moved out of the Stargate house in pretty much 24 hours. But it had been coming.

Almost immediately, literally from the moment we acknowledged this new direction as inevitable, we were offered a beautiful home to move into. Then we experienced the world of Swami Shivananda, initially here in the US and then by visiting and joining his Italian ashram. We were invited onto the foundation supporting his work and were quite excited to 'make a difference' there. There were many commendable experiences around and through Shivananda, including being able to present our flavor of growing into 'the mysteries' with the community, but sadly it became clear that he was harboring unconscious tendencies and behaviors. So we left. That adventure served its purpose relatively rapidly and is now completely over. 

So this last year, as you may imagine, has been a big upheaval and readjustment for us both. It continues to be so. In this respect I believe we are all on a similar trajectory as humanity transits that which Tom Kenyon has referred to as the 'chaotic node'. The previously 'hidden' aspects of our barbaric and unconscious past - both collectively and individually - are being forced into our awareness by more and more infusions of consciousness and there is a simultaneous reaction to maintain, and indeed increase, control. This is apparent everywhere we look. It seems ever more important that as we evolve our own individual understandings and responsibilities, as we grow and allow love and understanding into our own wounding, that we hold our so-called 'spiritual leaders' to a higher level of healing and integrity also. As we recognise an upleveling in our own hard gained awareness our relationships necessarily need to reflect this. Otherwise we may hold ourselves in a safe and comfortable but ultimately stagnant place. 

We are beginning to find a new place to create from and continue the 'great work' we are all here to pour our contributions into, and to this end we intend to utilize this platform to share and support those who find it valuable, informative, or just fun! As we move deeper into the challenges facing humanity and often feel overwhelmed or isolated in our individual efforts to 'make a difference' we know it helps to feel connected with 'friends'.
